My siblings ( above my sister ) learned how to cut their own hair . That is a $60 savings or more . My sister watched YouTube videos and mastered her layered hair . Definately don't try if you're not confidient . It will ruin your look .

Going green on a budget
Weather it's organic farming or solar energy . Going green became more than just a trend for most people ; it's a lifestyle . And with that lifestyle it is expensive . With some research I've found some places to help your budget .
I found links for organic coupons online , rebates for energy star appliances & tax deductions for solar power .
If you are eating healthy organic foods try : whole foods.com , mambo sprouts, and earth fare for coupons . As well as your local Sunday news paper coupons . A lot of the Sunday coupons have increased to healthy foods .
Solar power can be expensive to install . When it's not running you will need a generator for electricity . In my state of Vt home owners can get a tax deduction for solar energy or get paid to have a wind mill . I don't know if I'd like a huge wind mill in my back yard . If you have enough land and don't mind the noise , that option might be for you . Go online and research it before making that big decision .
When I moved into my home last winter I looked into a new furnace down the road . I discovered rebates my state offeres for new , more efficient models . I can get $500 back . Also any energy star appliance could qualify for $100 rebate .

How to save on visits to the vetanarian
This is one of my cats , Lily . She has behavior issues once in awhile and I would have to take her to the vet and spent $75 or more for a 15 minute visit . To give her a shot and have the doctor tell me what might be wrong with her .
In my area ( you would need to research if you have this available ) there are clinics at animal shelters that are held for pet owners to bring their animals in and either get them fixed or shots . They also have forms you can fill out to go to your regular pet's doctor . Most of the next visit could be 100% covered or pay half . I brought my other cat to one of the clinics to get her spade . I only had to pay $45 . Opposed to $145 I had to shall out for Lily . Ask your local animal shelter or even vetanarian if there are programs in your area . Keep your animals healthy as well as your wallet .
How to budget and save when there are 5 weeks in a month
The month of July ( 2015) there are 5 weeks . Which means for myself , 5 paychecks . I start off like any month with my first round of bills . I pay my vehicle , electric , trash , landscaper , and insurance in the first 2 weeks . Then I pay my mortgage the rest of the month . The extra week will help me save money for extra upcoming bills or put it into a fund so when I need it .
I've had 5 pay checks in a month many times . The extra money coming in always helps . Sometimes I've had it come up when my vehicle would break . Instead of getting money out of my savings I had the extra paycheck that luckily covered it .
Take your calendar out or what other form you use to budget . And do what you'd normally do in a 4 week month . Use the extra money wisely so later your budget isn't off track and you can breathe easy .
